Chef Heather Goodman is the creative heartbeat of WildFlour, where pastries aren’t just baked, they’re conjured. Drawn to beautiful details, bold flavors, and the quiet alchemy of the kitchen, she transformed years of joyful recipe tinkering, especially with her beloved French macarons, into a refined and imaginative culinary path. Her craft began to shimmer at the International Culinary Center in California, where she trained under three award-winning female pastry chefs who helped shape her elegant, technique-driven style. In March 2022, she added another layer of wonder by studying in Las Vegas with internationally renowned Pastry and Chocolatier Chef Amaury Guichon.
Heather’s creations feel like tiny celebrations: crisped-edge tarts that sparkle with fruit, croissants that flake like golden confetti, decadent cakes that stop conversations, and globally inspired treats like baklava and cannoli that carry stories in every bite. Each dessert is crafted with intention, imagination, and the finest ingredients because she believes sweets should offer comfort, delight, and just a touch of enchantment.
As cofounder of WildFlour, Heather guides the bakery’s menu and vision with artistry, curiosity, and heart. She shares this adventure with the Cadillac community alongside her husband, Tom, their four children, and two grandsons. Whether she’s piping macarons, dreaming up new recipes, or designing cakes that feel almost too magical to cut, Heather’s mission remains joyfully simple: make life a little sweeter, one enchanting bite at a time.
Chef Tom Goodman brings passion, precision, and a deep love of Italian cuisine to every dish he creates at WildFlour. After retiring from a successful career at AT&T in 2012, Tom took a bold step toward his lifelong dream—becoming a chef. He enrolled at the prestigious International Culinary Center in California, where he specialized in authentic Italian cooking.
Tom’s culinary journey took him all the way to Italy, where he trained under Michelin Star Chef Paolo Teverini in Bagno di Romagna. There, he honed his skills in handcrafted pastas, traditional sauces, and the art of balancing bold, rustic flavors with refined techniques.
With an eye for detail and a heart for hospitality, Tom brings his years of training and global inspiration to WildFlour’s kitchen. From house-made pastas to seasonal dinner features, his dishes reflect a commitment to quality and the joy of sharing food made with love.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Tom can be found greeting guests, helping with special events, or enjoying time with his wife Heather, their four children, and two grandsons. For Chef Tom, food is more than a profession—it’s a way of bringing people together around the table.
At WildFlour, Tom and Heather Goodman bring together a lifetime of passion, experience, and culinary adventure to create more than just a bakery. They’ve built a warm, welcoming space where food tells a story and every guest feels like family. With roots in tradition and a flair for creativity, their combined talents offer a unique blend of sweet, savory, and globally inspired flavors right in the heart of Cadillac. Whether you’re stopping by for a handcrafted pastry, a refreshing boba tea, or a comforting meal, you’re always invited to taste the love, share the joy, and be part of the WildFlour story.
